Management Team:


  • Pat Saavedra (Founder/President & CTO) is an experienced entrepreneur with an extensive and successful history in developing high-tech start-ups in the telecommunications industry. Over the past ten years, Pat founded a development company, which then evolved into a manufacturer of high-end VPN and Wireless communication technologies. Pat was also President & CTO of Passport Online, an award winning ISP. He has been one of the original pioneers in the development of IP convergence products, strategies and implemented solutions.

  • Peter MacMillan (VP Business Development) joined Agnicorp as VP Business Development. Peter has over 27 years information technology experience at all levels of sales management including the regional and national levels. He has worked with large firms such as Burroughs (Unisys) AT&T Global Services and Lason Corp. Peter is an experienced entrepreneur who for the past 23 years has specialized in sales & marketing consulting to medium, small and start-up information technology organizations such as Nelma Data, AASKI, Kestrel Technology, Baycom, Star Data, and Cover-All helping them to achieve significant growth.

  • Dan Hamilton (VP of Finance) joined Agnicorp Inc. in April 2007. Dan was previously CFO of Crystallex International Corporation, an international gold mining company. Prior to that Dan was VP Controller for AMEC Americas, a large multinational construction and engineering firm, and Group Controller for Noranda Inc., a multinational mining company.

  • Gordon Gow - Co-founder of Gandalf Systems and NABU, founder of Medi -Solutions, former Deputy Minister (seconded) Industry and Technology for Ontario

  • Michael Kedar - Michael Kedar launched Call-Net Enterprises Ltd., one of Canada's first and most successful alternative telecommunications providers. Mike was also the strategy advisor and founder of Canada Popfone, that became Microcell Solutions Inc., a Wireless PCS (Fido) and Internet service provider. Mr. Kedar has also been active in the international arena, as founder and chairman of TeleBermuda International Limited (TBI) in Bermuda and was key in securing its international telecommunications-facilities license.

  • Scott McCaw - Current CFO of The Cookie Jar Group of Companies. Scott previously held positions as SVP Finance for AMEC Americas, a large multinational construction and engineering firm and VP Finance for Wajax Ltd. a large multinational equipment distributor. Scott is the co-author of the CICBV Advanced Business Valuations and has undertaken many speaking engagements on mergers, acquisitions and the finance function.

  • Mark Ethier - Mark Ethier is the founder of SCME Holdings, a business consulting entity. Prior to this, Mark was EVP, Sales and Sales Operations for AT&T Canada. Mark has 24 years experience in operations, marketing and sales in the telecommunications, manufacturing and managed services industries for Telus Corp, Bell Canada Enterprises, Bell Canada International as well as having held senior management roles of increasing responsibility at Bell Canada.
